My name is Henry Barajas and I'm a writer and podcast host. I love comic books, and I will never stop creating or buying them. Sadly, I don't have any real useful traits to offer the world other than creating funnies.

The Tucson comic book scene is very important to me and I am trying to better it in every way possible. Some of the things I have done include organizing local comic book events, helped and worked at the Tucson & Phoenix comic conventions, set up movie screenings, and created comics with some of the local charities.

I'm still a comic fan boy.

I am the co-creator and writer of "El Loco" with Arnie Bermudez. It is my answer to the whole "what if I could be a super hero psyche and SB1070." El Loco is a Hispanic super hero and I'm re-telling ancient Mexican myths that I was told as a child.

Over the years I have developed a lot of friendships and bonds while pursing comics.

One such friend is Christian Viliare. He is highly professional in his craft and happens to also make great comic books. One character that Christian and I have created is named Captain Unicorn. In our story the hero is an openly homosexual man and is trying to make the world a better place. This book has a strong political commentary and I feel that this may be our best work.
Evil Robo Productions is a group of creators that has the same passion for comics as I do. I have had the pleasure in working with Eric Schock on the "Golden Age: Daredevil" story.  Also, I have worked with Matt “Zip” Howard on "Dwight Danger: Zombie Hunter" in Ash Try Comics #9.

I host a weekly podcast called RETCON.  In it I talk about what's going on in world industry and review weekly comics. Take a listen and keep supporting independent comics and you local scene. Whatever it is, It needs you more then the Jersey Shore does.
